Does your foreclosure purchase have a tainted title?  Recently JPMorgan Chase, GMAC Mortgage, and Bank of America have stopped the foreclosure process on homes in 23 states, with perhaps more to follow.  Current revelations that foreclosure papers were not reviewed adequately may leave some real estate prospectors with the jitters when it comes to purchasing a foreclosed home, but as we learn in today’s article, for the vast majority of foreclosed property’s the recent stoppage is just a technicality.  While every transaction should include some form of title insurance, today’s investor can be confident that his recent foreclosure purchase is free from title defect.
